I've done a few things that really seemed to boost my enjoyment of BF3, thought I'd share them.
1) Negative Mouse Acceleration.
BF3 messes with the mouse, making control a bit wonky. Where in DOD you could move the mouse super-fast, causing your guy to spin like crazy, in BF3 fast mouse movements result in slower in-game movements. Instead of spinning, you just stop. Here's what I did to minimize it:
I found the file C:\USERS\STAGGERLEE\MY DOCUMENTS\BATTLEFILED 3\SETTINGS\PROF_SAVE_PROFILE and backed it up (made a copy) then opened it with wordpad. Then I changed these three entries, changing them all to 0.000000
